Thats right, Im joining the Royal Air Force.
And befo some somebody think Im talking about the US Airforce (wich somebody did when I posted on the forum). Im talking about the British Air Force.
I will be the geek of the force as an ICT specialist.
I wont be flying any planes or killing anybody, I will be setting up and maintaining various systems either posted in Britain or abroad.
I'll firstly have to complete basic training wich will take 9 weeks.
Then I'll be on leave for a few weeks =3
After that I will have a year of ICT training wich will not only teach me what I need to get the job done but will give me skills I can use outside of the forces.
And thats the great thing about the RAF, they will give you great career prospects and train you, paying for youreducation.
They will even pay for your food and acomodation, ontop of that you still get your pay rate.
The usual service is 9 years, so i will have 1 year of studying then 8 years of having the time of my life.
